This Week's Pastry Chef Creations

On Monday, this is what she brought home. A cheesecake with raspberry topping, and drizzled with white chocolate. Her chef/teacher told her, if it was covered properly and refrigerated, it would last for 6 weeks. It will be the perfect dessert to serve on Christmas eve, for our family dinner.

Yesterday, she brought home this amazingly beautiful yule log. I had to stand and stare at the detail and the intricate decorating that was on it. This will also be wrapped and refrigerated until Christmas Eve.

I thought maybe this close-up picture would give you a better idea of it's design.
