My First Official Visit

What a privilege it was for me, to have my first official visit with my adorable neice, her handsome husband and their precious, week old twin daughters. For me, it was the first time that I ever held sleeping twins at the same time. I could have sat there all afternoon. This picture is of my neice holding the girls, in their newly decorated nursery.

This tall, athetic guy was gentle and glowing as he held his beautiful, sleeping little girl on his lap. It was a perfect photo op for me.

I was amazed at the transformation that had taken place in this room. Together, they have created a cozy, warm inviting nursery for the twins. I actually wanted to sit on the corner glider and take in, all that they had done. So pretty!! I look forward to many more visits. I am having a bit of trouble though grasping the concept of being a "great aunt"...it just sounds "old" to me.
