Seriously, do you think that this is what my Mother had in mind when she filled her bird feeders yesterday?
It happens everyday at our home. This morning I just happened to capture it.
Not just one feeder, but every feeder that she filled. It is a daily annoyance to her, but she keeps on feeding her "birds".
And the overflow goes to another type of furry creature.
Enough excitement from our corner of the world:) Wishing you some exciting joys in your corner today.

Even though it's an annoyance, cant help but laugh. Too cute.
Oh dear...you have a freeloader! May the birds still get their fair share.
Just stopping by to say "Hi!" What a cute squirrel and naughty too!! Your grandsons are adoreable...looks like you are busy, busy these days!!
I'm coming back to blogging soon! Lots to share and good changes along the way!! Missing all my blog friends including you!!
Love ya, Connie
That upside down hanging one looks really familiar! Are you sure we aren't neighbors? :D
I'm know your mother has oodles of company when it comes to her annoyance with squirrels. Don't get my mother started on the subject. She is secretly hoping there are none in heaven. =)
It's just as much fun watching the squirrels and bunnies. :) My MIL quit feeding because the squirrels made her mad. I just don't worry about it.
We had the same problem but ended it by mixing in a cayenne pepper product I found. It comes in powder form and you mix a small amount into the birdseed each time you fill the feeders. It does not bother the birds, but the squirrels won't come near it because it makes their eyes and mouths burn. It is not harmful, it just stops them from emptying the feeders. I will pick some up for Mom then next time I see it. I think those are our squirrels that relocated!!
We think mocking squirrels are cute. Our cats have a totally different opinion!
I hope Blogger allows me to leave this comment. It's been ornery for the past 24 hours ...
I love nature! Your pictures brought a grin to my face. There's just something so mystifying about God's creation; and clever too. When it comes to birds & bunnies, squirrels & groundhogs, aren't we all kids?
Blessings,
Kathleen
