Vibrant colors of the outdoors, are brought inside to brighten up an ordinary rec room and kitchen
tables.
The palette of color in the Spring is breathtaking, as you can see by this picture I captured,
while driving on Sunday afternoon.
My sister-in-law is so gifted that she can even turn church fellowship hall tables
into visions of beauty, as she did at our family Easter celebration.
Lavender and burlap fabric, along with a few nature touches, and
the room came alive with color.
My sister added touches of blue and white at a recent dinner. Blue hydrangeas look good
in candlelight, and with them, a kitchen table can become a masterpiece.
Another kitchen table has it's moment in the sun, jelly jars and all:)
Remember the simply decorated jars from a previous post?
A bouquet of fresh flowers from the grocery store, placed in a glass
vase, add more touches of color to the table.
Tiny tin pots, purchased years ago, hold small potted pink Asters, and
serve as table favors. Tags from Michael's Store.
But, better than any colors of nature added to the tables, are the ones that grace the seats
of those tables. Here my daughter and her thirty year old cousins and friend,
spend rare time together, catching up with happenings in their lives and celebrating three
milestone birthdays.
Thank you for stopping by today!

The tables all look wonderful, you have such a gifted family! I love the photos of your daughter and friends, how lovely that they were able to get together to celebrate their important birthdays
Such very beautiful table settings to celebrate special events and people in your lives!
I love the blue and white under the chandelier and the extra touches at the Birthday table.
so nice to see what "our friends" do!
Beautiful...all the special touches. And the guests of honour sitting around the table! Happy Birthday to your daughter and her cousins...all celebrating a milestone!
I enjoy how much light attends your table settings. The floral arrangements are lovely, but it's the overall ambiance that touches my soul. I can see myself there. It could happen.
Loved everything about this post! The table done in the blue dishes is my favorite! It's so Southern looking. :o)))
Looks like a charming group of young ladies.
Happy weekend!
What a treat this was to see how 3 different women each add their creativity to the tablesetting. They are all so pretty and I know, without a doubt, that the guests were made to feel very special.
How nice it was to see the birthday gals at your table. You sure do know how to put the Happy in the birthday celebrations.
Such a fun, fun morning at a beautiful table, with treasured friends and DELICIOUS food. THANK YOU for your gift of hospitality!
