Recently I offered to bring a dessert to an occasion.  The hostess requested that it be a gluten free dessert.  This is the dessert I made.  I thought you might enjoy making it too.  It is from www.allrecipes.com. It is green grape salad.

Ingredients:

4 pounds of green grapes(I used half red and half green grapes)
1 (8oz) package of cream cheese(I used light)
1 (8oz) container of sour cream (I used 4 oz. of sour cream and 4 oz. of Cool Whip
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
4 oz. chopped pecans

Directions;
Wash and dry grapes.  In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla.  I folded in the Cool Whip at this point.  Add grapes and mix until evenly incorporated.  Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans.  Mix again and refrigerate until serving.
On the website, readers also mentioned that they added chopped apples to this salad.  I want to try that the next time I make it.

We think this is a delicious salad or dessert.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sounds yummy! We very much enjoyed a grape salad at a restaurant we visited in Florida last year. Thanks for sharing.

This looks and sounds so good. I also like the "just a little something" you added to make it look so pretty.
Thanks for sharing the recipe with us.
