Harmonica Lesson #1

Last evening...in the big guy's office...I discovered this special moment. PawPaw and the little guy, playing their hearts out on the harmonicas. Seems like only a short time ago, although it was at least 20 years ago...the big guy and his dad were playing harmonicas together. I forgot how well my husband could play this small insturment. For the little guy...he had never seen one until a few minutes before my entrance. He picked up the concept quickly...adding his "notes" to PawPaw's melodies. "You Are My Sunshine"..."Red River Valley"..."Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"...from one old favorite to another. An unexpected concert I will not soon forget.

Oh, those little red heads stop me in my tracks every time. My Spencer (red head) tried the harmonica too. Time flies too quickly.

It sounds like the little guy is following along in the big guys footsteps. And speaking of footsteps, I love his little barefeet. Such a cute post.

Priceless! My dad loves to play harmonica...all the old tunes. It's something you don't hear much anymore...so keep your guys (big and little) playing.

What a wonderful picture. It sounds like your hubby is going to have a musical buddy ♥ Those special times are so precious. Children remember things like that.
