There are days, and I know that you have them too, when one just feels like...

...taking the easiest route possible...

...and ducking one's head into the water, or burying one's head into the sand:)  Yes, my friend,
there are days.  Today is one of them for me.  It seems like everywhere I look, there is
trouble in some form or another...except, when I look up.  Looking up, always brings me
comfort.

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth."
 ~Psalm 121: 1 & 2

Just in case, it is one of those type days for you too...

...here is a little something for you!  Keep looking up!

Love this post and verse. Have you heard the Casting Crowns song? Love it! When I think about "the maker of Heaven and Earth" I realize how small any issues I have in life are. :)

Your new header captured my attention right away, Judy. I wonder if there is a story behind those teacups. Perhaps another one of your lovely family gatherings?
At any rate, there does seem to be an awful lot of trouble everywhere lately and it can be incredibly hopeless and sad. I thank you for this reminder to keep looking up, especially in times like these. Also, thank you for the pretty flowers.

Dear Happy@Home,
There is a story about my header picture. I was privileged to attend a lovely tea party at the home of one of our daughter's teachers, a few years ago. It was one of those memorable happenings in my life, because everyone there was treated royally. It was served in her beautiful gardens.

Judy I know the feeling well...it's a place we never want to be. I trust we have periods such as this to remind us of our constant need of relationship with God.
Praying you through this time...

Hugs!
