In the everyday of daily life...
When at times it all seems overwhelming, or frustrating, or lonely, or impossible, I pray for you...
...that once in a while, you are given the gift of a warm welcome, when you arrive at your destination.
...and that you are given friends who are there when you hurt, when the pain is unbearable (... like a bee sting) offering their condolences and genuine care.
...when you just need a buddy to brighten your day, one will be there waiting and wanting to play.
...and may you discover that there are those who do look up to you, do admire you, and do think that you are so "cool"!
...and when you really need someone to run too, in the midst of your play...
... that someone will be there to hug your cares away.
...and when the journey is difficult and tedious, there will be someone to lead you, someone you can share the task with, because two is better than one, at getting it done.
"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
In the end, we all need each other. We are family and friends, and being there for each other
through thick and thin, is what makes life easier and happier.
"It's not the gifts that can be bought
That become life's little treasures;
It's gifts that come from the heart,
The ones that can't be measured.
It's gifts of friendship tried and true,
That become life's gifts of gold;
These gifts of kindness can't be bought
For they're to precious to be sold."
~Unknown
Yes, this is what I pray for each of you today!

Such good reminders...to show kindness at every opportunity, to brighten the day of another, to be there for each other, to be a friend. Thank-you!

We are heading out again after being camping for the week. Our grands will be joining us for a few days and I'm sure there will be photos once I'm back to my computer. Happy August!
