With wind gusts up to 40 mile per hour and snow on the ground from yesterday's snow, the roads were a bit treacherous this afternoon.  But, the skies were exceptionally beautiful, and I could not resist taking a few pictures.

Our daughter and son-in-law had a safe flight home today, and we are now back to being empty nesters, with lots of special memories stored in our hearts.
