A good, busy week lies ahead of me, at least that is the plan.  The sun is shining today.

My daisies are in full bloom and there are an abundance of them.

We discovered a new and exciting way to spend the afternoon, by drawing roads and garages on the dry erase board.  We retreived all the play cars from the bottom of the toy box, and filled a blue lid with water to represent a park in the middle of the roads, and came up with a way to spend the hours.
I do hope you are impressed with my road artistry:)  It never was one of my strengths, but the concept worked, and to me that is all that matters.

Park the cards in the parking spaces that were drawn in.  Race the cars on the road, then park in the spaces, then visit the pond (with frog included)...just so much fun.

The highlight of the week will be when our youngest daughter and her husband fly home for a visit.  The first time that they have been home since their January 12th wedding.
We are all so excited to see them again, including the seven younger ones among us.
Our second daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter are also coming home.
Hopefully, we will be together as a family on Saturday, and to this mother that will certainly something that makes a good week even better, especially since it rarely happens.

Isn't it nice in daily life to find some things, however few a week may hold, to look forward too?  Some weeks provide more than others, but when a week includes homecomings of loved ones living far away, it is extra special.

Certainly not a lot to blog about today.  No earth shattering news to share.  Truly it is "just a little something".  But, thanks for stopping by.  I hope that you are provided with at least one thing to look forward to this week.

So exciting for you all, having just been through a similar couple of weeks with our family visiting I know just how you are feeling. Have a wonderful visit with them all. I look forward to seeing some photos and pray for God's abundant blessings upon you all!

My boys used to occupy themselves for hours with little cars. I could have used your idea with the dry erase board back then. They would have loved it. Very clever.
I am so excited for you to be having all of your family together. That is always special, but even more so when some live out of state. Have a wonderful visit.

Aww Judy...isn't that what summer is all about? Just mosey through the day, nothing too spectacular to report, hopefully at least.

A boy and his cars....that was a common sight around here when our two boys were growing up. And the first thing our grandson does when he gets to our house is to go to the toy box and get his bucket of cars!

I have found that the richest of life is in celebrating the "nothing earth-shattering" events of life. Looks like you've got quite a treasure growing there!

Hugs & blessings,
Kathleen

Hi Judy...just stopping by to see what you are up to! Looks like fun..I'm going to steal that idea from you for Mason...he loves Cars and trains and we could use that for both since Grandma doesn't have all the track like he does at home.

Happy Summer to you! Connie
