Last evening, my mother filled all of her bird feeders. As I mentioned before, she lives in
lower level of our home. She knew more snow was coming and she wanted to be ready.
She was right. The snow came and is still coming. In the early morning hours, the birds
came too. Many of them.
The male Cardinal came.
And the female Cardinal.
Then, all of a sudden, a multitude of Black Birds filled the tree nearby, and then
they congregated under the trees where the feeders were. The silence of the morning
was broken, with the loud noise they make.
The squirrels came...lots of squirrels. They don't bother the birds and the birds do not
bother them. The large rabbits came too. I found myself being a bit intrigued by it all.
A wildlife preserve of sorts, thanks to a pretty lady who happens to care for them all,
especially when the snow is forecast.
Which leads me to share this picture that my sister sent to me. Hope it adds a smile to
your day. This could really happen at our house, since we have an abundance
of little furry creatures here. And, if you are having a snowstorm right now, I hope
you stay warm and dry.
Thanks for stopping here.

LOVE that your mother does this, and that all the birds came. haha on that pic! Enjoy your day...
I didn't realise your Mother lives in your house, that's handy and I'm sure she loves being close by. Good job she got those feeders filled!
I am sure the wildlife in your area is most grateful for your mother's loving care. They all seem to know where to come when the snow shows up.
I had to laugh out loud at the cartoon. I am quite sure that guy has appeared at my window on more than one occasion.
Your snowfall is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. We have been having dreary, rainy days.
I'm smiling! How fun to watch the birds, squirrels and rabbits enjoying a banquet in the snow outside your window! Love to see cardinals...a rare sight over here.
Oh, that squirrel is so funny!
I think I've seen that look before outside my window.
Love being surrounded by birds, always have...
Love that they bring joy to your Mother..
Hugs!
I'm smiling too!
