Ten years ago, my husband bought me this lovely, crystal chandelier for my birthday. He hung it on our bedroom ceiling. To this day, whenever I see it's pretty little lights casting a soft glow on the blue and white striped walls, it makes me smile. You see, I have always been inspired by "light".
Two of these old glass lamps sit on the wooden chest in our bedroom. They were purchased at a flea market years ago and, they, too, add a soft glow to the room.
Whether it is a full moon on a dark night...a fire in the fireplace...twinkling lights on my porch...or these two light fixtures in our room...the "light" is what I am drawn too. You will always find tiny lights on in our home.
God's light also brightens my world.
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12.
Wishing you rays of light to brighten your life journey!

SO beautiful! I noticed the lovely light in your previous post of the terrarium with the paper-whites and wondered how you did that. I was planning and accomplish some re-potting of houseplants today and that included my terrarium. But lights sure would had been pretty :)
Lorraine,
I wove a tiny strand of battery operated lights in through the terrarium, and only turn them on once and awhile, although they do last a long time. You can find them at Michael's store or some garden stores. Also, I must let you know the paperwhites are not real(they just look that way).
Thank you for your kind comments.
Beautiful...the chandelier! And such a great promise in that verse. Thanks for sharing.
I think that is why I like candle so much. They add a comfy feeling to a house.
Your chandy is Beeeutiful!
M :)
Waiting for the day when we will no longer need the sun or the moon for HE will be all the Light of Heaven!
Beautiful chandelier and beautiful verse of scripture...thanks for sharing.
What a sweet post. Your chandelier is beautiful!
I am sooooo impressed that your husband thought to purchase such a meaningful gift. How many men might be less inspired? It's absolutely beautiful!
I'm a light-junkie myself. If it were up to me, I'd have candles burning at all times, Christmas lights twinkling on every house plant, and accent lights aglow dawn-to-dusk.
I love the scripture that reminds us that even darkness is as light to Him (Psalm 139)!
Blessings ...
You are a light that brightens my life journey. Thank you.
I have always noticed that you have, what I call mood lights. They do add a special touch.
