Driving home after a busy day took on a new perspective for me last evening.

"Home" is always a place I look forward to returning to.

For so many in our great country, this week that privilege has been taken from them in a few minutes time.

I realized again, how often I take for granted the daily privileges of  "home".  Heading home after a long day, is truly a gift.  The comfort, security, familiarity of "home sweet home" is something I feel so thankful for today.

My heart hurts for those who lost loved ones, their homes, their communities and their sense of normality, in these fierce storms.

We have been away from TV and laptops this week and havent heard about the storms you have been experiencing in USA. Thank you for your post and your reminder to pray for those who have lost their homes. Our weather is wet and cold and now some snow is falling. My daughter in SA has been experiencing a cyclone and her thoughts have been with the homeless people that she spends time with there. Thankfully we have a mighty God who we can trust at this time
