Yes, I am sharing yet another sunrise from my window, this morning, thanks to my dear aunt who called and told me about it.  She knows how much I enjoy seeing sunrises and sunsets, and how disappointed I am when I miss them.

The only sad part to me is that my Sony cannot possibly capture the REAL, breathtaking beauty of it all.

I do wonder what my neighbors think as they see me standing by the upstair's window taking a multitude of pictures in the early morning hour? And of course, I wonder what you all think that I am sharing yet another sunrise picture?

This framed piece describes my early morning event perfectly..."This is the day".  My oldest daughter purchased it on Etsy, as a gift for me this Christmas.  It was beautifully created by..."www.jeannewinters.etsy.com

It is taken from Psalms 118:24  "This is the day the Lord has made;  We will rejoice and be glad in it."

I've placed it on my kitchen wall unit and it serves as a needed reminder to me, that each day that I am given, is truly a gift from God...

...whether there may be glorious sunrises in it, or not.

You may want to visit her Etsy shop and see her creations.

Wishing you a reason to celebrate today despite what you are facing.

I too love sunrises and sunsets and saw many while away at Christmas. That picture is so pretty too and you are right....a perfect reminder of how wonderfully creative our God is!

Thank-you...for the reminder that each day is a gift from God. I often quote that verse before getting out of bed in the morning.

the sunrises have been fabulous this winter!

I found you via Miss Debbie at the Sandwich Years. Haven't taken time to peruse your blog...not sure where you're from. But your sunrise looks a lot like my Colorado sunrise!

Our sunset tonight looked just like your sunrise. Indeed the colors are amazing.

Happy New Year sweet friend! Thanks for checking on me as you usually do :-) While I'm thanking you, thanks for always making me feel special. That is a gift you have toward others.....
My Granddaughter Aubrie and I made your Easy Cookies with cake mix and Cool Whip, they were indeed easy and good! Told her my story of you while making them.
Hope all is well, I am weeks behind on everyone's blogs. Khloe has really cut in to my time...how blessed am I?

Hugs!

Oh my goodness! I was blog hopping and I had to comment on how FABULOUS your photography is. BTW....I wanted to invite you to stop by my blog. We are having an "impossibility" challenge for 2012!

We live above the Orting Valley, which runs from the base of Mt. Rainier all the way down the valley to Seattle - some 35+ miles. The skies around the mountain often host spectacular sunrises. In fact, the name of our community is Sunrise. It's my fav time of day.

I love that you captured the sky's rippled cloud formation.

Judy this is the day my Mom passed peacefully from this world into heaven. Your post has made me feel as if this was a sign from her that all is well. Thank you!
