My "smile makers" today...
The last one of my Christmas decorations is packed up and put away. It is a big job and not near as much fun as putting them out before Christmas.
My husband had off work today and had time to spend with his little buddies.
Their laughter always makes me smile.
Now to many of you, this is not a big deal, but it is my first time ever to see a fox up close, or to photograph a fox. I was capturing another brilliant sunset this evening at the neighbor's farm, and there right in front of me was this red fox running close by. Lucky for each of you, you too get to see a fox up close:) Now aren't you happy that you stopped by? I am.

I smiled at your fox. It must have been the same feeling as the time I spotted an elk across the neighbors field.
I put my decorations away today too. It seemed inevitable. I love those sparkly lights and wish now I had left up the ones in the kitchen. We are having a dark rainy night here.
Such cute, happy little grandson's. Where we lived before our present house we had regular visits from foxes, sometimes they would come right up to our patio windows and peep in. Funnily enough, that was when we lived close to London in a built up area, now we are more in the country we rarely see them. I love to see photo's of your wonderful family!
Oh yes I certainly am glad I stopped by. Putting those decorations away never is a pleasant chore...and I am quite impressed with the fox. Can't say I've ever seen one up close either. Enjoy your week...
I'm always happy to stop by for a visit with you, Judy. How exciting to see the fox when you weren't expecting to.
The photo of your husband and his little buddies made me smile this morning. Pure happiness and delight on their faces.
I am always glad that I stopped by! It is always so much more fun taking Christmas decorations out than putting it away!
Happy New Year!
He's quite lovely...your red fox! We don't see them around here very often.
I totally agree...that decorating is much more fun than dismantling! My Christmas decor is also packed away...as of yesterday.
Laughing babies always make me smile.
Some years ago, while we were still living in AZ, my husband ran across (literally) a cougar. It had no interest in him as it was headed somewhere. So was hubby shortly after the encounter.
