I thought it was his April fool's joke played on me today when he told me to look outside at the snow. Well, it was not April fools, it actually happened and it is still snowing.
Since I had not listened to weather forecasts, this snow was certainly a surprise.
My hanging pot of pansies.
The view out of my back door.
I have been given the gift of a new day (snow and all). "Each dawn holds a new hope for a new plan, making the start of each day the start of a new life." ~Gina Blair
"Every day we live is a priceless gift from God, loaded with possibilities to learn something new, to gain fresh insights." ~Dale Evans Rogers
Wishing each of you some new insights as you face this first day of April.

Are you laughing?!
Do have a great day!

As I went to bed last night (after a very long day), I thought about tomorrow...that it would be a brand new day. A fresh start...a gift from God. That's today...and I am so thankful for it!
Hope this is just a little joke weather wise. I have read some folks are getting a full blizzard worth!
I too woke up to a winter wonderland this morning, but it was truly a blessing to receive yet another snow day off from school. We had our annual fundraiser banquet last night (following a very busy day and then a late night)and after I got the word that school was called off I got to catch a few extra Z's! Love your quotes!
Enjoy this day!
Blessings!
Oh brrrr! There's something about a mixture of pansies & snow that seems wrong; all wrong.
I'll bet, when spring finally does arrive at your roost, we'll be seeing pictures of you dancing!
Blessings,
Kathleen
Can't believe you have snow today, I love it but only when it is supposed to fall...winter time not spring time. Hope you have a lovely snug weekend!
I can see why you thought that was an April Fool's joke. Hard to believe it snowed in April, but it sure does look pretty from inside your cozy house.
Beautiful quotes you have shared for the start of a new month. There is always inspiration to be found at your lovely blog, Judy.
Snow? April? You could of fooled me!
Great quotes. Dale Evans Rogers was a beautiful woman. It was good of you to remind me of her charm.
Hmmm, I know it's pretty but that would be a nightmare to me at this point.
Oh Wow! Snow in April...still? It has been sunny and in the 70's in my neck of the woods. Hope you thaw out soon... I just love pictures of the snow though, since I don't get to see it too often in person.
