This is her wedding week.
Final details are being taken care of.
Time has gone so quickly as it always does in life.

Two little ones born around the same time years ago.
They grew up spending many fun times together.
Last week he got married and this coming weekend she gets married.
They are pictured in a slide show at his wedding on December 27th.

Here they are together at a family mountain vacation years ago.
Everyone tells mothers that children grow up so fast, and now I know for sure that is true.
Really, it all went so fast.

We will all miss her so much, but look forward to all this wedding week holds.
To all of you with young children out there, love them, hug them, teach them, and spend time with them while you can. Before you know it, your nest might be emptied also.

What a beautiful place for a wedding! Love the shoes! I may know how you feel, just having been there. But for me the sadness of losing my last one was overshadowed by my thankfulness to see them well married and settled in their own lives, and I know this will be the case with you. We've had some heartache in the past, which this marriage, for me, gave clear meaning to the biblical term "beauty for ashes". At the time of our hurt, I could not imagine how to get past that and how our family would ever rejoice again. Someone meant it for evil, but God used it for good. Joy comes in the morning!
It sure does.
I am so happy for you and your daughter. Your family just keeps growing and being blessed. Enjoy this time and take care of yourself.
hugs, Deb

Thank you Judy! You always help me to feel so at home and I thank you. If I could make a wish....... it would be that we were next door so I could have coffee with you each morning. I will be with you as you celebrate Kim's Wedding! Want to see pictures! Love,

You are so right about how fast the time goes. When each of my children left I felt I was not finished "raising them". You just have to trust you have done your best and they will find there way.

Enjoy every minute of that wedding and then post lots of photos for us to enjoy!

So excited for you Judy and I know the feeling of the overwhelming final days before a wedding. Praying for a beautiful and wonderful day and all the little cousins will be a fun part of the day!

AND you are right...enjoy those little ones because they do grow up right before our eyes and then the house is very quiet!

Love ya...Happy New Year! We are off to Colorado to celebrate Ms. Bella's birthday next week. It's supposed to be 17 degrees! Yikes! This California girl DOES NOT know about 17 degree weather!!

I don't think I "got it" until long after my fledglings flew away. The years do have a way of sweeping past, and those toothless little grins turn into lovely smiles... often out of view.

Motherhood has long been my most favorite & treasured role. Still is.

Love you!
Kathleen
