It's 18 degrees outside. The snowflakes are softly falling.

It just seemed like a "hot chocolate" kind of day, even if it happened to be her first cup of hot chocolate ever...pink marshmellow hearts included.

A cut off straw worked for her. A newly discovered favorite on a bitter cold last Saturday in January.
Hope you are staying warm.

That is quite possibly the prettiest cup of hot chocolate I have ever seen. How sweet to think this is her first time trying it. She appears to be enjoying it. What a perfect way to stay warm on a cold day.

These pictures are so endearing. I'm sure she enjoyed this hot chocolate for more than just the heart marshmallows...probably mostly because she was enjoying a special treat made with love from you in your cozy home. I'm sure she felt so special! I remember when you used to do that for us. I wish I was there so you could right now!:) Love you!

Yum! Very cute photo's and that hot chocolate looks lovely. We have discovered that the twins enjoy hot chocolate when we take them for a walk in the woods, there is a little outdoor cafe and we sit all wrapped up enjoying a nice drink. Personally I like a big skirt of cream on top!

A perfect January treat...pink floaties and all! It will be most suitable for February as well.

OK, I'm taking notes on this one. Where did you get the heart marshmallow?
What a cutie!

The heart shaped pink and white marshmellows were purchased at the Marshall's Home Goods store. They were in a Valentine's display near the checkout. I also purchased a bag of them last Valentine's Day.

Tell me about the marshmallows...did you make them? If not, where did you get them?

Oh, just saw the comment on where you got them. Thanks!

How cute is that! I've never seen those little heart marshmallows. Your little granddaughter is so beautiful. there is nothing better than hot chocolate on a cold winter day. Stay warm and enjoy that lovely granddaughter of yours. Thank you for the warm coments and concern for Charli and me.

And won't it be fun for her to see herself enjoying that first hot cocoa (with hears no less!) one day?

I am totally digging all the flavors that marshmellows come in these days. Strawberry flavored in hot cocoa is the bomb!\

Pink marshmallows, a pretty white cup of hot chocolate, and a cozy snowy day with her Grandma - what more could a little girl ask for? Looks so inviting and warm! So sorry I missed you at church today - however ask your dear husband what his advice was to my husband about leaving your children while vacationing. "Horses" may remind him... Love ya! Jen
