"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these."

Great post...I have loved watching the relationship between my mother, my MIL and my children and how it has changed over the years. Now we get to watch them with their Great grandchildren. The photo on your blog is beautiful and one that I know you will treasure.

I just LOVE that picture of ALL of us and Great Grandma....it brings tears to the eyes. And what a fun memory of breakfast out on a Saturday morning, boy, I just enjoyed myself sooooo much.

Wait...oh, that's right! I wasn't there!Hmmm, it must have been a simple oversight, I'm sure. Because there is NO doubt in my mind you would have wanted all your 5 grandbabies sitting around that restaurant table with you, sharing their "Greek word of the week" and scipture memory verses, whilst quietly coloring within the lines of their homemade coloring books that they assembled before coming...

So, really, I DO forgive you. No hard feelings. Really.
;-)

Love you!!!
J.

I hope & pray my own grandchildren remember me with great affection. Because my parents had me so late in life, I did not get to know either set of my own grandparents. Thus I get to make-it-up-as-I-go ... and, I must confess, I'm having a blast with it!

She's beautiful, and no doubt very honored to know how much you value her!

Blessings,
Katbleen
