The second time I was served this sandwich by my sister-in-law, was even better than the first.
I asked her if I could share the recipe with you. Now just in case you need a
new sandwich recipe, this may be the one;
One whole wheat sandwich thin. Spread both sides lightly with whipped cream cheese.
Spread both sides with a thin layer of pepper jam.
Add some baby spinach leaves on one of the sides.
Add a few slices of good, smoked turkey breast from the deli.
Last, but not least, lay on the turkey some thinly cut, and peeled apple slices.
She used Honey Crisp apples.
Then pray that you have the discipline to only eat one sandwich:) The flavors blend so well and
taste so good together.
And, just in case you need a doctor, she received a doctor's kit for her birthday, and each of
us came up with ailments that had to be tended too:)
Today went by so quickly. I hope you accomplished more than I feel I did.
For some reason, I lacked energy to complete all that I needed to do. Busy weekends
tend to do that to me.
Thank you for stopping by.

Thanks for sharing the sandwich recipe, Judy. It sounds yummy and I just happen to have some pepper jelly on hand.
If one must have ailments, a cute little Dr. like yours would be sure to make you feel better quickly.
The sandwich sounds great! I often add a few apples slices to the side with my sandwiches as I do love the combo, but popping them right on sounds even better!
Yum, yum, just may have to give this a try! And, think I might have an ailment too if I had such a sweet little Dr. Thanks for sharing!
That sandwich sounds delicious. I love sandwiches of all kinds.
Little kids playing doctor are so precious.
I'm taking notes...and will be serving a similar sandwich sometime soon! Looks yummy.
So cute...your little miss doctor!
Sweet little doctors...and great looking sandwich!
Dearest Judy,
It has been some time since I have popped in to visit you but not some time since I've thought of and prayed for God's best for you, your husband and the extensions of your growing family.
I have missed you and am so thankful for each time you've popped in and visited my new ministry site/blog. It was quite a hard decision to move over to wordpress with my blog and to let go of churchsquare to go to a different host after 8 years but it was well worth it.
My friend, I pray that you are well. I enjoyed reading this message and seeing your beautiful grand daughter. Mine are now 6 and 5. Can you believe that? Where has the time gone? I adore my Grands as I know you do as well.
I wish I could visit and break bread (that delicious looking sandwich) with you.
I'll try not to be a stranger in my visits. Life is being lived and I am following God's leading in the division of my time.
I love you Judy and appreciate you.
With love,
Lisa
I can believe that sandwich is yummy. It reminds me of a grilled chicken and apple on ciabatta that I've tried to duplicate from a local restaurant. I love the combo of savory poultry and sweet.
