A blessing in the world of blogging, came to me when I checked my emails this morning.
Here is the email I received...
"Hi Judy,
I stumbled across your blog today and I really found your post about the Women's Day magazine to be wonderful. My family has actually been trying to find this magazine for a long time, because the De Golyier family mentioned in the "Americans I Admire" section are my great grandparents and their children. We had never known what the cover looked like so we couldn't find it on ebay or the like. But, thankfully, because of your post, we've finally been able to order the magazine that we've been searching for years to locate.
My mother and I just wanted to thank you so much for posting this blog post! We can't thank you enough for it!
Rita

What a blessing! Carol finds this magazine in her attic, she wants to share it with me. I find it so interesting that I decide to share it with you. Then Rita somehow stumbles onto my blog and finds something that her and her mother have been searching for years for.
I love how that works. I see it all as a gift from God.
The flower picture was captured by my uncle on his iphone. Last week we were having dinner on the patio of a local restaurant, and he captured this exquisitely beautiful flower.
Just a little something from me on this hot, sticky September morning.

What a neat bloggy connection once again. Definitely orchestrated by God! I missed your post yesterday and went back to read about the old magazine from almost 75 years ago. Most interesting...and to think it was only worth 2 cents back in the day!
Wow, that is amazing and I would agree that it is a gift from God.
I just love the connections that are made in blogland. I'm so glad you shared this one with us. I
There are no coincidences...everything is planned and has a reason. I LOVE this!

13eaI love magazines, especially old ones. But this post is just how God works. Blessings, blessings, blessings! I'm so gitty with delight.
Good morning! I LOVE hearing stories like this. What a blessing for everyone involved. Isn't our God awesome? Have a wonderful week-end!
What a wonderful story, Judy!
Sadly, I have had to dispose of so many wonderful old magazines that were in my collection as I know it would not be cost effective to move them cross county. I recycled them, but I did wonder if someone would have wanted them. I did read through many of them one more time before I tossed them and saved a few articles for prosperity.
