We measured, we poured, we stirred, we formed each tiny cookie onto the cookie sheet, and into the oven they went.
And then we waited, and waited, and waited. This scene is what I found when I walked back into my kitchen.
After the cookies came out of the oven, we placed them on the cooling rack...
... then we waited, and waited, and waited again, until they were cool enough that we could taste them.
I explained to her, that most times, the best things in life are worth waiting for.
I hope after she tasted her cookie, that she agreed with me.
That's all for today. Wishing you patience for whatever you are waiting for.

What a precious sight to see when you walked into the kitchen. I like how she even had a seat for her pink bear. Too cute.
I'm sure she found the wait to be well worth it.
This is such a cute photo, she must love coming over to Grandma's house to bake. you have captured the anticipation well. One of our twins loves to bake too
That is so true Judy... Adorable photo of "a girl and her bear". I love that when we bake with them they want to watch it bake...as if it were magic :-)
Hugs!
what a sweet blog. and by the way those cookies do look yummy!
The little pink bear was a great "waiting" partner. How sweet!
