I watch them as they interact with the little ones in the family.
I see their tenderness, their care, the time they take with each of them.
There is just something about these young men in my life that is so endearing to me.
Fathers and "maybe someday to be fathers" play a real special role in the life of children.

"They say that man is mighty,
He governs land and sea,
He wields a mighty scepter,
O'er lesser powers than he.
But a mighty power and stronger
Man from his throne is hurled:
For the hand that rocks the cradle
is the hand that rules the world."

Wow, we moms of girls! Isn't it fun to get sons through marriage?
We get to reap the benefits of someone else's hard work and avoid the high insurance rates. :D I'm liking this!

What precious pictures. I know how proud is your mother's heart, because my own rejoices when I see or hear my sons loving their young ones. It's a mighty man that stoops to rock that cradle!

Hugs,
Kathleen

Wonderful photos Judy! I have felt so honored to watch my son become a father two years ago and to see all the love and care he gives to his son, our grandson ever since. I know he learned it form his own Dad.y sweet husband.

Happy and healthy 2011 to you and your family!
