"A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every

day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful

which God has implanted in the human soul."     ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I am afraid that too often lately, we see more of the ugly in our world, flashed across
the television screens of our homes, and we become so absorbed in the ugliness at
times, that we miss out on the beautiful around us.  My prayer is, that on my blog, in
a simple way, I will continue to share bits of the beauty that make up daily life.  And
that even in the midst of pain, trials, uncertainty, and unrest...our focus can be
redirected to those simple, yet amazing gifts that our Heavenly Father provides us with.

A tiny gift for you today.  I only wish I could share the sweet aroma it provides,
along with it.  I know it would make you smile.

Thank you for stopping by.

Your blog is a breath of fresh air!
From the Header to all your grandchildren. Each make me smile.
I have a recipe box full of your tasty creations.
If I need an idea for a gift, I open up some of your past posts and I'm set.
I feel like a "friend" when I stop by.

I'm imagining the sweet aroma from those blooms! Thank-you for your gift to me!

I like that quote...it applies to all of us, whatever our age. We need to catch a glimpse of the beauty of the Creator daily...whatever else is happening in our lives. Thank-you for continuing to point us to the beautiful gifts of God.

Thank you so much for bringing us the beauty of the world around us. I rarely watch TV because the images both on the news and in the entertainment shows, is so horrific. Add that to horrible language and too much skin....ugh...
I like to look at your pictures and read the sentiments that you share. It makes my life so much more beautiful!
Be blessed,
J
