Thank you Alan Jackson, for sharing the words to a song that I have been singing all day.

My dear, wonderful Mother went peaceably to heaven on Friday, December 4, 2015, after
a difficult, four week bout with cancer. She has blessed many for 81 years, of
which the last 16 years, she has lived in the lower level of our home.

Yes, some day, I will stroll over heaven with her.  Until then, she will be deeply missed.

Ps.  Alan Jackson's Mother and Mother-in-law are pictured in his youtube.

Sincere Sympathies to you and your family at this time. Please take comfort in those around you. May you see that she is still with you with every sunrise and sunset as only angels can paint those beautiful pictures.

Goodness, so hard to lose a Mother...My sympathies to you and your family. I know this will be an adjustment to your new "normal" on many levels for you. Thankful too that we have that promise to reunite for those who believe!

Wishing you God's best in the days ahead...

Hugs and love,
debi

Judy,
My heart goes out to you this morning as I read your words. I am so sorry for you and your family as you mourn the loss of your dear mother.
The one thing that has always shined through when I read your blog posts is the love shared so well among your family members. I have often thought how each member from oldest to youngest would certainly know they were loved and cherished. As I look at the photo of your mom being hugged so tightly by her (great) grands I am reminded of this once again.
The song you shared is beautiful and comforting.

She taught you well, how to love and be loved. That is a precious gift!
My heart goes out to all of you at this time.

Special prayers for you and your family this morning from Texas. God hears them all, and even while you grieve your deep personal loss, your mother is celebrating her first Christmas in heaven. We can only imagine! Her joy is complete, Judy. It's OUR hearts that hurt, and I pray special prayers for peace and healing for each one of you.

I lost my mom on December 22, 2013. Planning a funeral is especially hard when it is Christmas time. May you be blessed with loving memories and loving family as you celebrate your mom's life.
