Tomorrow I will celebrate 60 years.
As you can see by the above picture, I have been around for a
very long time.  This picture was taken at my Grandpa's farm.
The wagon holds my Uncle and me.
My Grandma and my Mother were pregnant at the same time.
Hence, I grew up having an Uncle a few months younger than me.

My friend created this beautiful bouquet of roses for me for my birthday.  It blessed me so
much, that I decided that I was going to do a giveaway opportunity to you, my dear blogging
friends.  I visited a lovely new gift shop that friends opened in our area recently, and found two
special gifts choices.

I purchased this colorful floral picture with black iron stand.  It actually is prettier than it looks
on this photo. You can choose between this piece if you want, or...

...if you like coffee as much as I do, and if you find yourself looking forward to waking up
just to have a cup, then you may want to choose the gift of the next item.

You may want this combination.  An old looking coffee picture
where the word "coffee" lights up when you flip the button on the side,
along with a black iron stand.
I discovered this at my friend's shop, and knew I had to offer it
to you, because it is unique and fun.

So, there you go, if you leave a comment on my blog, like you all
so often do, and your name is chosen, you can decide which
gift you would want.  Flowers or coffee...your choice.
Please feel free to leave a comment, even if you never leave
comments, or if you always leave comments.
Even if you live far away, my friends at the postal shop will mail it
to you.
I want to give you a gift.  I want to share my joy today.
I want to help ease the reality that I will be 60 years old.
On Friday evening, my husband will draw a name.

Somehow, I know that with prayer, I will be able to face the years ahead.
Prayer along with some cups of hot coffee, what could be better!

I remember my grandma would say, "We grow too soon old,
and too late smart."  I smile because I understand that now.
It is a Pennsylvania Dutch Proverb, and I can see how it could
happen to me too:)

Thank you for visiting here tonight.  I appreciate you all so very
much.  You have been visiting my blog for a long time.  You deserve
a gift from me.
Comment if you wish.

Well first let me wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I think I figured this out before but we are pretty much the same age. I will be 60 at the end of September. So we would have probably been in the same class and graduated in 1972, right? The flowers are soo pretty, that was nice of your friend. And giving something away on your birthday is just soo you. Sweet and unselfish. Hope you have a WONDERFUL day tomorrow and your family has lots of surprises and love to give you. May the Lord richly bless you always! HUGS

Well. I am not going to be officially in the drawing, as I am one you have birthed only a few short(ish) years ago, yet I want to comment on here and testify to what a FABULOUS and LOVING and CARING and EMPATHETIC mom you have been to all three of your daughters. We are rising and calling you blessed! (finally! you never thought it would happen during those teenage years did you?). We love you and celebrate sixty wonderful years.

PS> To whomever wins the drawing, PLEASE pick the garden sign. I need the coffee one. ;)

Wishing you an awesome day tomorrow...and many blessings on the journey ahead! Isn't it just like you to be giving away gifts on your birthday.

I'm smiling at the coffee 'posters'...since I have one from the same family right here above my computer screen. It says 'I love you blogs and coffee!'

Happy Birthday Judy. I've been following your blog for the last few months, which I fell upon by "accident" (no "accidents" in Christ..right?) and I want to thank you for sharing your special "little something" each day. I look forward to reading your encouragements each morning before I begin my work day. Thank you. BTW...prayer and coffee...my two favorite things! A winning combination :)

Wishing you a very happy 60th birthday Judy. (I'll be 55 in a month..and a new gramma! )

Happiest Birthday wishes to a precious lady and blogging friend! You know, I smile and think of you each time I use the pretty plate you gave me. I keep it right with my everyday dishes and use it often because it makes me happy as I remember your kindness.

I love your words, "Somehow, I know that with prayer, I will be able to face the years ahead." So encouraging :) I think I just might print them out and stick to my fridge to read frequently. My very own, Judy Quote!

Your birthday bouquet is just a lovely as you ~ enjoy all God's blessing to you this special day!
Love and hugs, Lorraine

Oh dear Judy! I wish you a most wonderful birthday today and may God make his face to shine upon you and give you peace in the year ahead.
You are worthy of a celebration. I wonder how many people you have blessed over the years with sweet tokens of your friendship.

Speaking of coffee... it is still early here at 6:40 AM and I patiently wait for my beloved to wake up so that I can grind todays coffee beans! =)

Hope your have a wonderful birthday! Being a grandmother myself and loving the simple things in life, I totally love your blog. I won't be 60 for a few years, but just remember what George Burns said "You can't help getting older, but you don't have to get old"! I would totally pick the garden sign so that your daughter could have the coffee one! :)

Happy Birthday, dear Judy. I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day today.
The photo of you and your uncle in the farm wagon is so sweet. I'm wondering if he is the uncle who shares his beautiful photography with you now?
The roses are gorgeous!! What a thoughtful gift from your friend.
Although we have not met in person I, too, thought it is just like Judy to offer gifts to others on her birthday. You truly are one of the most unselfish, kind people I have never met :). So very glad to have made your acquaintance in this blogging world. You inspire me always.

Dear Happy@Home,
No, it is not the same Uncle that shares all the amazing photography. He is a brother and he is two years older than me.
