I was lucky enough to see that smile yesterday, along with 4 other little smiles. Your daughter and grandchildren are so beautiful! She hosted a fun morning for Grace and I yesterday!
Last night I ran into someone I used to know. I greeted her with a smile and said hello. Completely straight faced she looked at me and said, "hi lissa, how are you." That did not feel welcoming at all. Smiles are so important!
Now that is a precious picture! And thanks for the reminder about how important our words are. Something happened at work today to prove that. Everyone was having a wonderful peaceful day when one person decided to be unkind. Soon,two people were crying and others were angry because their friends had been hurt. It was made right, but it certainly put a damper on the day. When things like that happen, it does remind me to be kind!
