Like an array of fruit sorbets, Spring ushers in it's vibrant colors.  Do you need a bit of
inspiration for your weekend?  Ever since my daughter introduced me to creating
collages on Pic Monkey, when time permits, I enjoy spending time putting them together.j
There is so much beauty in our world, especially this time of the year.  I hope you like
the collage I did this evening, just for you!

My friend had these lovely pink faux peonies tucked into green and pink polka dotted mugs,
as a birthday gift to me.  I needed a centerpiece for an upcoming dinner.  I placed the
peonies into water, making sure they had been totally immersed in the water.  I placed
a floating candle into a small glass holder and centered it in the flower.  The flower was
put in a cut glass pedestal dish.  Since the gift included three peonies, and I just happened
to have three glass dishes, I lined them down the center of the table.  So simple, and yet
pretty.  The pink matches the sprays of pink roses on the flowered tablecloth.

The dinner isn't until Sunday evening, in case you are wondering why I do not have
silverware on the table.  I was trying out the centerpieces, and took a picture to share
with you.

This colorful little duck piece comes out each Easter, and brings a smile each time I see it.

These two pictures make me eager for the upcoming days of warmer weather and time
to spend in the great outdoors.

Despite all that is taking place in our world, I am choosing to focus on the words of God
in  Philippians 4:8, "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right.  Think
about things that are pure and lovely and admirable.  Think about things that are excellent
and worthy of praise".  It sure brings my heart more peace, than focusing on the world
news.

Touches of beauty, and wisdom from God, from me to you!  Wishing you some weekend
joys!

Last two pictures are from past Country Living Magazines.

Dear Judy,
As you hopefully know by now my visits to your blog are a blessing to me in so many ways. I must say that one thing that always stands out is your ability to be so unselfish and always caring about others. I find that to be quite refreshing in today's world.
Your beautiful collage and photos of your table decorations are an example of this. I know you are a busy lady and loving grandmother. In the busyness of preparing for dinner guests you could have chosen not to share these photos with us. I am so glad you did. I receive so much inspiration from your ideas and want to thank you for taking the time to share with us.
One more thing, those peonies sure do look like the real thing. I LOVE the special arrangements you created.
Enjoy your dinner on Sunday, Judy.

I love the way you weave together both touches of beauty and the wisdom of God. Come to think of it, it's when we see & value beauty that we are closest to Him.

Someday I'm actually going to set a pretty table, thanks to your inspiration.

Love,
Kathleen
