Remember "Calgon, take me away"?  Today, it is my dear uncle (the photographer extrordinaire) who took me away, and out of the goodness of my heart, I will take you all with me.
Come along and see these pictures that he sent to me over the last few days.  Very apparently, he is in a totally different part of the world than I am.  Me...snow, ice, freezing rain, cold temperatures and overcast.  Him...sun, warm, sometimes even hot, clear skies, my beautiful aunt, time to spend with his brothers and families who live there,  and lots of blue waters.  Do you still want to come and see his pictures????

Who among us could ever create beauty like this?

Can't you almost smell the ocean air?  Thank you, my uncle, for sharing your amazing photography skills with us.
Since so much of the United States is feeling the effects of the snow, ice, and freezing rain...I hope you all stay warm, and find a moment for some good hot chocolate:)

Of course I'd like to come along as I know from previous posts that your uncle is a most talented photographer. This post was further proof of that. I paused at each flower picture to really take in the beauty. Just amazing. I was also intrigued by the bluish jelly things. Are they jelly fish?

I loved seeing your uncle's photos - the bird ones were my favorite (of course!) Nice to have a bit of warmth and a mini vacation thru these photos - especially as we're expecting blizzard conditions tonight in Michigan!

It's hard to imagine that part of your country continues to enjoy balmy temperatures for seagulls and man alike. Lovely pictures.

Your uncle takes the most amazing pictures! Just beautiful! I hope you are staying warm and cozy on these cold winter days. Your pictures of the snow are beautiful as well. The pictures of your little grands in the shoes was priceless :>) And I really enjoyed the wedding pictures. Thank you for sharing with all of us. I wanted to thank you so much for the kind comments you left on my blog. They have meant a lot to me. I consider you one of my very special bloggy friends and it's been a joy to know you ♥

Wow ... so incredibly beautiful!

You have come to mind often these days as we gather news about snow "flurries" in the NE. It's rare when WA State gets snow, so it's somewhat difficult to imagine what you're experiencing.

I know you're making the best of it - at least a "little something" of it. I'm sure we'll be delighted with the outcome when at last you thaw out.

Here's sippin' cocoa to you ...

We can only imagine that there are parts of the country without winter! Beautiful pic's.

The jelly fish photo reminds me of our time at South Padre Island, Texas...where the entire beach was covered in turquoise jelly fish.
