Humbly, I share this with you.

I had a few minutes in the late afternoon where I quickly washed my hair, dried it, and whipped it up in these velcro rollers. This process takes only a few minutes for me to do. I felt her little pressence beside me during this entire process. As soon as I finished, she said, "it's my turn."
So, we washed her hair, dried it, and stuck the velcro curlers in it.
Velcro rollers, all different sizes, from the dollar store or from Walmart, inexpensive, need no clips to fasten, adds body, works best with a small dab of gel on hair before rolling, part of my daily life...fyi.

Mission completed. Dinner needs to be made.
Yes... "grandmas truly are just antique little girls".
Happy day to you!

Oh that is so adorable! You HAVE to put the roller picture in a frame!

Your grandkids have the best grandmother! Do you visit BJ at Sweet Nothings? She has so much fun with her grandkids too. They are older than yours but she stays very busy with them.

What precious memories you are making with your granddaughter. These pictures are just adorable.

I have the velcro rollers and love them except I seem to end up with big "bumps" that are hard to tame. lol. I'm thinking maybe my hair is too wet when I roll it. Mind if I be nosy and ask if you dry your hair before rolling?

Have a wonderful weekend.

I love the saying - have never seen that one before.

Velcro rollers are so wonderful! Wish they had invented them years ago - so many nights sleeping with sticks or hairpins poking into my head.

In answer to your question, I always dry my hair completely before using these curlers. I have found this to work best for my hair. I put a dab of gel on the countertop and add a touch to each of the strands before rolling. It works best for me to leave them in my hair for at least 15 minutes or as long as it takes to get jobs done in between. They are just so easy to use, and forgiving as far as how they are arranged on my head.

What a sweet quote. I'll have to tell my mom that, my sister is pregnant (first grandchild in the family). So she's becoming a grandma in May.

I just love those pictures! What on earth would we do without those hideous rollers??? I just bought a new pack at WalMart this week...

I especially love the beautiful faces behind the rollers!

Oh my goodness; that made me laugh! I used to roll my hair every night, and then proceed to sleep on those things. Beauty was everything BUT a good night's sleep. Then again, at 16 or 18, that's how I thought.

I couldn't help but think of how often "their eyes are watching us" - - these little ones. May she grow up to be an antique just like you (and me)!

Blessings,
Kathleen
