"To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there."   ~Barbara Bush

"I not only want to be loved.  I want to be told that I'm loved."   ~George Elliot

"You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving."    ~Unknown

"Love bears all things,

 believes all things,

 hopes all things,

 endures all things.

 Love never fails."

~I Cor. 13: 7-8a

My wish for you is that in some unexpected way, you may be made aware today, that

you are loved by being shown kindness.

"Johnnie, what do you think loving-kindness means?"  asked his mother.

After thinking a few moments, scratching his head, the boy replied "Well, when I ask for a

piece of bread and butter and you give it to me, that's kindness.  But, you know Mom,

when you put jam on it, that's loving-kindness."    ~Unknown

Such good quotes you have chosen and the picture collage illustrates them all so well.
I always find it so heartwarming to see the ways family love is shared in your family, Judy.
The last little story made me smile. I think it's so true that often the small gestures go the furthest in making one feel loved.

Loving kindness... one blessing upon another. Have we not truly experienced that in committing our lives to Jesus?
