Thirty six years ago today, our oldest daughter was born.

For a few rare and brief hours, we got to celebrate the special person that she is to all of us.
Her genuine spirit, her sense of humor, and the fun she adds to many occasions gave us plenty
of reasons to want to honor her.  On Saturday our dear son-in-law also had a birthday.  What
a blessing to sit and visit with them today.

We felt a void though as we spent time together, and did want not to leave the youngest
daughter out of our celebration.  Distance kept her from being with us, and we hoped her
senior picture would do the trick:)

I cannot believe I have a thirty six year old daughter, because I clearly remember
my thirty sixth birthday.

Happy Birthday Dear Daughter!  May you continue to be a beautiful
 expression of God's love.

Hi! I'm here from Debi's blog, and saw the beautiful necklace you gifted her. Your blog is so pretty, and the family photo of you & your daughters. I know she had a wonderful birthday and your son-in-law as well.

I love making new friends in the blog world, and will add yours to my friend list if you don't mind.

Have a blessed and happy day!

What beautiful girls you have. Happy birthday to your daughter. I know how you feel as my oldest is already 40!! Seems unbelievable, haha. When we gather sometimes and feel the absence of my daughter, her brothers do that very same thing. Put an 8 by 10 picture of her on a chair and sit it by us, haha. Joins her in somehow. Hope you are having a good day!

She is beautiful! Inside and out from what I know of her through your blog and hers. My oldest daughter just turned 35 in August. Incredible, isn't it!

You look way too young to have a 36 year old daughter!

Happy Birthday to your eldest! 36 seems very young to me these days...though I know it never felt that way when I was that age. What a beautiful photo of you and your girls. I had to smile at how you included your youngest!
