He (my husband's youngest brother, pictured on the far left below) visited us for a few days,  from his home in the Rockies.

He was here for a good friend's Memorial Service.
His visits are rare, but treasured deeply.

"Being a mother is not about what you gave up to have a child, but what you gained from having one."
~Unknown
No doubt, our Mother-in-Law would offer a hearty "Amen" to this quote.
Time spent with her three sons upon his arrival, will always be treasured in her heart.

Even the youngest ones were thrilled with his visit.
Unforgettable moments with the guitar, for the little guy.

Family times are the best, even though we missed our sister-in-law and the rest of the family, who stayed back at the Ranch.

Thanks for stopping by today.

There is little that I enjoy/treasure more than family gathered around a dinner table. The love, laughter & banter warms my heart.

I also love it when families value each other enough to share time together. What a gift!

Love that quote about motherhood! 'Amen!'

How nice that when one comes home for a visit...the rest all gather in 'the nest'! It looks like a good time was had by all.

I'm so happy that your mom was able to see all her sons together. It must be such an adjustment to let go...that much.
I love how you are all fitted around your table. It looks a lot like ours.
