A few of my "mood lifters" during a somewhat normal November week.

A new iced coffee drink that I was given by my daughter.  It has become my new favorite in the "iced" coffee category.  You can make this concentrate and store it for a while in the refrigerator.  Simple to make, and delicious to drink.  The concentrate makes at least five glasses of iced coffee.
My daughter uses The new "Domino organic agave nectar" instead of sugar in this recipe.
I also use skim milk to mix in with the concentrate.

An inexpensive and good tasting version of my new iced coffee drink of choice.

Looking out my kitchen window to see my mother's flower garden below.
These vibrant colored flowers add a smile to my day, whenever I look out my window.

Last evening the setting sun lit up the bushes by her porch, causing their burnt orange color to come alive.

These red bushes were at one of the stops I made yesterday.  The brilliant red leaves on all the bushes, created a perfect fence row by the side of the road.

The sun shining on these bright yellow leaves was enough to cause me to stop and capture it all on camera, but as always, this picture does not do the scene justice.  The memory of it though, adds a smile to my day.
Orange, red, yellow, and green fill my autumn days lately, and it makes me so happy!

Last, but not least, the pumpkin cookies that my sister-in-law gave me, were hands down the best pumpkin cookies that I have ever tasted!
Now, you and I both know that I don't really have much of a sweet tooth, and for one entire day the plate of cookies sat on my kitchen counter, untouched.
Then, in kindness to my sil, I thought I really should taste them.  Well, let me tell you, they are outstandingly delicious!

I understand they are my neice-in-law's cookie recipe(thank you Ally), and have been in her family for a long time.  Isn't that the case so often...older is better!!!
I immediately wrapped them up and put them in my freezer, so that I would not consume them myself.  Now, if you stop in for coffee, I will pull these tightly wrapped cookies out of my freezer, and share one with you(if you can stop at one:)

Hope your mood has been lifted too, by stopping here today.

Oh, I Love iced coffee. I'm not sure how to take the concentrate and make the finish beverage. It must need a lot of milk?

SO many lovely photos on this post! :)

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I think I'll make these next week for our employee breakfast.

Just a little something from Judy said...

The glass I used in the picture of the iced coffee is a tall one. Usually I use a medium sized glass, and fill with 1/4 cup of coffee concentrate and then I add plenty of ice cubes and the rest skim milk. Interestingly enough, the ice cubes do not melt right away like I expected. To LDH, I hope this answers your question on the amount of milk.

Like I said before, you are my "go to" for a great recipe. And you always include a picture to go with it.
(I only buy recipe books with pictures)
