So much emphasis is put on the outside today, in our world.

How you look?

What you wear?

What you eat?

What you can't wear?

But, my theory is, that no one anywhere looks bad when they smile.

A "smile" is an instant cosmetic.  An instant facelift.  An instant spirit lifter.

No matter what the age, a smile on a face reflects love and joy,

It reflects grace, kindness, and care.

It reflects inner beauty which in turn, creates real outer beauty.

It reflects happiness and contentment.

It reflects fun and enjoyment.

Oh, I am so fully aware, that there are many times, smiles just do not come.

There are times when life and it's circumstances are too sad or heavy, to smile.

But, when it is possible, share one of your smiles with those around you.  You never know how

much of an impact that smile may make on someone.

I am so thankful for the many times, when one little smile made all the difference.

Sooooo true! I love that my own family cherishes laughter & joy. It's our default perspective, but when it's blighted I feel it immediately. Nothing like a wide grin to set the world aright once again.
