I am not sure what it is that leads you to visit here at my blog, and I must tell you at times I find myself wondering why it is that I share what I do.
Life tends to be so complex at times, that perhaps you may find the simple things shared here may provide a relaxing break for you.

I want only to share beauty and joy with my posts, although I am fully aware that life does not consist of only those things.

I know on a first hand basis, that some of you are going through some difficult times, and life changing circumstances, so I pray as I share, that visits here may perhaps lift your spirits for a few moments.

Today, I share some pictures of things that have added a smile to my day, and I do hope that you will find a smile here, too.

The gorgeous tree across the street from our home.
Every Fall it shows it's vibrant colors, and this year it seems like it is showing an exceptional array of colors.  I spend time on my porch staring at it's color and beauty.

My uncle sent me these two marigold pictures this week, including the bee busy at work.   His photography and the artwork in nature, continue to be a blessing to me.

What exquisite color, design, and complexity in each and every petal.

And, of course you would know why this picture brings a smile to my heart every single time I look at it.  Can't tell you how many times that has happened since I captured it:)
The older sister has taken quite fondly to her little brother, and together they share their smiles.

"All the statistics in the world can't measure the warmth of a smile."   ~Chris Hart.
(I couldn't agree more.)

"With a friend at your side no road seems too long."     ~Japanese Proverbs

Moments of time that I wish I could make stand still.  What fun this young lady adds to my life.   I love watching her grow up, and am often reminded of how it seems like just yesterday, that her mother was the same age as she now is.

I have the book "One Thousand Gifts" laying on my coffee table, and I pick it often.  It serves as a reminder to me, to make the moments count in my life.  Ann Voskamp states that "Moments, that is all we have.  Moments.  Microscopic, fleeting moments.
How many moments of our lives have our eyes been wide open-but we've been rushing, racing, sleeping right through?

Receiving each moment for what it really is, holy, ordinary, amazing grace.
A gift."

The beauty and the smiles shared here today are gifts I treasure, and thought I would share them with you today.  Thank you for stopping here.

The reasons why I visit your blog are too numerous to mention. I think in the end, I learn a lot from you... things that I can put to use now and things I hope to one day put to use if I become a grandparent. The love you have for your family and friends shines through and your compassion for others is admirable.
Did I mention that your blog also provides a lot of smiles ... like the photos you have shared today. Such adorable photos.
Your blog is a true blessing in my life.
