"Nothing says "You matter to me" more than the act of investing time with the people we care about." ~ Debbie Macomber

Ten Rules for Happier Living

1. Give something away-no strings attached.

2. Do a kindness-and forget it.

3.Spend a few minutes with the aged-their experience is priceless guidance.

4.Look intently into the face of a baby-and marvel.

5.Laugh often-it's life's lubricant.

6.Give thanks-a thousand times a day is not enough.

7.Pray-or you will lose the way.

8.Work-with vim and vigor.

9.Plan as though you'll live forever-because you will.

10.Live as though you'll die tomorrow-because you will, on some tomorrow.

~author unknown. I read this in Debbie Macomber's book, "One Simple Act".
Just waiting together...one for her daughter's birth and one for her little cousin's birth...waiting is hard to do. Look at the little one with her aunt's purse over her shoulder:).

Waiting is hard to do...for sure! Blessings to you all....as you wait.

I'm smiling as I read your quote by Debbie Macomber. I just picked up a Debbie Macomber book (my first)...and was about to go settle down with it.

I love the pictures of your daughter and granddaughter...I love that there are never enough babies around and that each new one is just as exciting as the last!! And the quotes...seems to me that you have already taken them to heart and passed them down to your daughters..so sweet.
