The long cold, snowy winter days are here, and finding ways to entertain and occupy the little ones can be quite challenging at times.
You can't imagine the effort put into trying to get these three little ones to smile at the same time. The middle one did have a big smile until the flash from the camera changed that. Well, two out of three isn't bad. The one on the right does a great job in his role as "big brother" until their oldest "big brother" comes home from school and resumes that role.
"We were a strange little band of characters, trudging
through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together." ~ Erma Bombeck
"Families give us many things-love and meaning, purpose and an opportunity to give, and a sense of humor."
Thank goodness for a sense of humor because that gets us through many things.

oh I have to laugh at our toddlers. They share toothbrushes before the parents can intervene and then howl like crazy when they are not allowed to continue. They share drink cups and then howl when they have to give them back. They share cups of "water" in the tub .. all in all . .they make me laugh.
Your little ones are so cute.
The weather is nothing but rain here. .we have a Hawaiian express heading our way.
Did you have a slumber party?
I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day, then with Grandma!
Oh my goodness those pictures are adorable! :)
I'd say they are a very cute little band of characters...and are so blessed to share toys, food, cups, lots of laughs...and all things family! Keep your sense of humour...and keep sharing the memories...and allowig us to smile with you.
the pictures are too cute...and the last line so true...
What cuties!!
Beautiful, beautiful children!! Yes I do know how hard it is to get them to all even look in the right direction, let alone smile at the same time.....but you did a great job, well done!
Your grandchildren are just adorable ♥ They are all so sweet. I love the little quote you included. What a wonderful time your little grands must have at your house. I hope you have a lovely day.
After visiting Charli and Me, today, I stopped in to say Hi. All of your pics are cute!
The Erma Bombeck quote reminded me of all of the bursts of laughter I had while reading her books.
What a fun post! All of yours are so fun! But so sweet to see the darling pics of your precious little grandchildren! I loved the post with Jeane and Christopher singing into the mic too! I remember many times doing that same thing with Jeane'! Such a treat to visit!!! Love you! Linds
What cute little ones and a sweet quote. It's so true. Wishing you a wonderful day!
Such sweet and precious faces! I'm afraid I'd never have the heart to tell then "no" about anything! Love the quote by Erma Bombeck...I'll have to share it with my sister (who has 5 not-so-little ones). Have a wonderful day!
Oh how I remember trying to keep little ones happy on those cold, snowy days & I only had 2. I can imagine how it must be with 4! The quote from Erma Bombeck fits the situation perfectly. I used to love reading her books. She definitely had a good sense of humor and I agree with you that it serves you well in many of life's situations.
The pictures are all adorable!!
Oh indeed: a sense of humor is vital if one is to endure (especially on snow days)!
What beautiful babes. It makes me excited about the new one coming to our family in June since all the others are now much, much older. There's just nothing like an infant or toddler to stir our hearts and imaginations!
Blessings,
Kathleen
AND........a day with laughter IS NOT a wasted day!
Keep on laughing.

Dear Judy,
I just spent some lovely minutes looking over and catching up on your posts all the way to New Years. I loved how you included some of Jonathan Edwards resolutions. I love to read them again and again! I am motivated and encouraged each time! Reading his biography by Iain Murray is something I'll never forget!
I am always so touched by the warmth and love of family and friends that abounds here! Your grandchildren are beautiful--the twins-such sweet little cherubs! Your music-so soothing!
Thanks so much-Judy-for always taking the time to come by the Teeny Tiny and for leaving such sweet and encouraging comments!
With Love from the Cabin

Oh Judy, this message and photos both warmed my heart and drew tears for I deeply miss seeing my grand babies. I'm praying that this year our daughter and the family will relocate here so that we can see them more than once or twice per year!!!
Your Grand babies are SO ADORABLE! The twins are growing so quickly! Amazing!!!
