Her porch is small, but it is by far her favorite place to be...to read, to relax and to watch her birds. Throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall...I know where to find her, if she is home and if the weather is right. It is decorated with plants, flowers and little lights. The arrangement above was given to her as a gift, and sits on her glass and wicker table.
One evening I took this picture to share the coziness of her porch with you.
Her carefully selected flowers bloom in beds surrounding the porch...and yes most of them are in hues of pink, purple and white.
Her treasured, filled with blooms Gloxinia plant is sitting on the brick wall outside her porch. Apparently this type of flowering plant has been around for a very long time.
I thought you might enjoy seeing her pretty oasis...her place to enjoy the beauty and quiet of life.

So peaceful, cozy and warm! Fern is beautiful - my favorite plant.
A perfect porch...it feels homey. I'm a blue, pink and purple kind of gal...when it comes to flora.
Ah, what a lovely retreat! = )
That does indeed look like a cozy pretty porch...and large by my "city life" standards :-)
So serene, & cozy. I too find my porches to be my place of choice. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to have a little porch like that. I would decorate it with girly furniture and pretty flowers...just like hers. :)

My folks aways had a screened in porch and used it all time in good weather. Morning coffee with the paper, lunch and dinner would find them out there. I love this post and the reminder of such a cozy lovely spot.
What a beautiful and inspiring place to be. I could pull up a chair and read away for hours siping on tea or coffee. Thank you for sharing such a lovely place.
I love places like this where comfort and nature live together. Beautiful.
