I like things that smell good...

I enjoy foods that taste good...

I like things that look good...
( I discovered her with this play cowboy hat on this evening, and she was so proud of herself).

But, I also like things that do not smell good...

The last few months, every morning and every evening, my husband takes a glass of water and adds a teaspoon of cider vinegar.  He drinks this concoction because of a recommendation from his sister-in-law, who learned of it from her aunt.  She said that it took the pain of arthritis out of her knee.  She was thrilled.  Now that he has taken up this ritual, he no longer has the strong pain that arthritis caused in his knee.  Now, how is that for some helpful advice.  Both of them have discovered this to be a true remedy for them.  I will never look at cider vinegar the same again.

Another less than pleasant smelling item, is the white vinegar that I use in the rinse cycle of my wash machine.  It rinses all the remaining residue off of the laundry, it makes my clothes feel clean,  soft, and it leaves no odor.

And, I actually pour some of this in my dish water, along with hot water and my favorite dish detergent.  It does a great job in cleaning everything, especially my glassware.
So there you have it, a few of the insignificant "good" and the "bad" of my life.

Wishing you some good moments in the weekend!

I love all those smells too. I used to take cider vinegar but got out of the habit...think I will try it again. Thanks for the reminder!

Good morning! WOW..that's really interesting about the cider vinegar. I may have to give that a whirl. How long before he noticed results? Have a GOOD day! HUGS!

Just a little something from Judy said...

Debbie, I just asked him that question and he said, "maybe two weeks". He also said, " that he did not stop and think about it, that the pain just gradually stopped, and for that reason he is not going to stop this practice."
I am often skeptical about anything like this, but I do notice a big difference in how he gets up and down now. And, my sister-in-law's pain has gone in her knee. So I guess I would suggest giving this simple remedy a try, if you would like to. It just might help you too.

Aww... the sweetest little cowgirl.
Very interesting about the cider vinegar. I love to hear when these simple remedies actually work.
Also interesting to know that you can use it in your washing machine and it doesn't leave a vinegary smell.
I will have to try that.

I'm off to buy cider vinegar! I know of someone who might just benefit from your tip.
