Sunday evening Christmas dinner in the home of our dear friends. Warm hospitality, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and a delicious dinner were the highlights of the evening. They provided a special holiday memory for all of those who attended.
I thought I would share a few of the pictures that my sister captured from the evening. Nature was the theme of the beautifully set table, with gold beaded fruit, faux log beaded votive candles and fresh evergreens, completing the tablescape
I wanted to share this lovely decorated living room with you. It provided a welcoming ambience, with the tiny clear lights adorning the fresh greens.
In the lower level of the home the decor provides a natural mountain theme, with paintings on the walls, featuring evergreens and black bears, done by an artist friend.
Dessert was served in the downstairs family room. This moist, delicious chocolate cake was baked by the owner's talented daughter whose aspirations will most likely take her to culinary school, after graduating from highschool.
The dessert table was a feast for the eyes with the remaining desserts baked and decorated by a gifted pastry chef friend. The taste equaled the beauty...that is a accomplishment.
Too pretty to cut. I think this cake was a chocolate mint cake.
Quaint decorating with an old-fashion feel to it, was everywhere in this room.
This kitchen island centerpiece was so attractively done by the hostess. Simple pieces of the outdoors brought in and arranged to create holiday touches.

That looks like a lovely evening in a beautiful home. The art work on the walls is amazing. And speaking of amazing ... those cakes are gorgeous.
Once again your sweet comments this morning put a song in my heart, Judy. To answer your question, my Shiny Brites are old. They used to belong to my parents.

Isn't it fun to be invited out for a memorable Christmas dinner with friends? It all looks delicious and inviting!
I may have to cheat on my Jenny Craig diet after seeing this beautiful dinner spread. Thanks for visiting my first blog and welcoming me.
What a beautiful dinner...
Just visited your friend Terri. She has some beautiful trees. Great to welcome a new talent. I went to my prayer groups Christmas get together last evening, but reluctant to take any pictures. It is a little more reserved than some parties at this time of year. We had such a wonderful time and food was great and spent some time in prayer together. Blessings
