As I sat at my desk one evening this past week, gazing out the window, the neighbor's tree served as a perfect visual reminder, of the way that nature's seasons come and go. Like clock work, they perform their duties, and this tree displays them beautifully. It's tall, strong presence serves as a calming symbol of strength and stability as it gracefully and quietly reveals the changing seasons of life. Without fanfare, the evening sun shown it's spotlight on the branches, creating an artistic display of indescribeable beauty.
"Summer and winter, spring-time and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
"Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!"
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided-
"Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord unto me!

That song is one of my very favorites. We taught all the verses to our very young children as a night time routine so all the verses are planted in my memory. Certain times of life have me unable to sing the verses because of tears but the words and music are a testiment to a Faithful God.

Beautiful post....thankyou. We are off today for a few days in Wales, I am really looking forward to seeing all the autumn colours, they are out here where we live but the countryside in Wales is even more amazing. Have a great week!
