And I had that ex...I so remember all those things! And I had that exact radio/phonograph with me in my dorm room. Wish I still had it as I still have several LPs that were special to me. Wonder how many of today's high school grad know what is meant by "LP"?

I am getting Facebook and email reminders of the 40th LJHS class of 72 reunion coming up a year from now. Each time I read the notices my first thought is:

"Oh, the class twenty years ahead of my class must be planning their reunion. Gosh, those guys must be almost sixty by now..."

Then it registers that the notice is about MY class and WE are the ones who are almost 60. And a lot of my classmates are grandparents now. Some are probably even GREAT grandparents.

Well I think I will stop going to high school reunions and start just going to my grad school class reunions instead. It just sounds so much younger to be able to truthfully say I am going to my ten year class reunion instead! Ha! Another reason to go back for one's Masters degree after the kids leave home!Thoughts on Life and Millinery.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15826496514403918108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8854349486430756566.post-6975881124055331942011-05-26T09:34:26.167-04:002011-05-26T09:34:26.167-04:00Judy... what a FUN find!
