Happy Birthday to a very special guy and a few of his little admirers, helping him celebrate his birthday last evening!  I was proud of the delicious, warm apple pie she made and served, thanks to her aunt's recipe., especially in light of the business of her day.

This post fits perfectly in the "simple pleasures" category of everyday life.

The card with the cow on the barn roof, was the request of the little guy for his older brother to draw on a card.  He just knew Pawpaw would find that so funny:)  Just love the fun, enthusiasm, and imaginations of little ones and birthday celebrations.

This post ties in with the one I posted last evening.  Rare happening for me...two posts in two days.

Happy Birthday to your husband. I can't think of a happier way to celebrate it. The special birthday card was soooo cute. And an apple pie sounds so much better than birthday cake.
Wishing you both a lovely weekend.

Looks like a great evening...I spotted a Harley bag on the table and know of another Parpar who loves anything from THAT shop!
Loved yesterdays post too!

Love the card for the kids Pawpaw, being a Grammy I can tell you that was probably his best gift. When my Grandkids make something for me I keep it forver. Great post

Celebrations...love'em.
Family celebrations are the best, especially when it's homemade.

Looking forward to your series on hospitality.
