"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." ~1 Corinthians 13 - 4-8
I am so thankful for His kind of love.
I love that one. We had it in our wedding!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reminder for the day, my friend. Miss you and your blog. Wanted to stop by and say Hello. Hope you're doing well.

Heard that piece read aloud at my nephew's wedding ceremony last Saturday... and it was lovely. I'm always moved by that very clear definition of what love is.
ReplyDeleteI am too Judy. . This perfect love is a continual challenge for us isn't it? I'm glad I dont' have to do it on my own.
ReplyDeleteLove the little muffing tin header. What a good idea! But then, you are the best at that!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall!
Loved the story about the rainbow! What a precious gift from God.....His timing is perfect, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteoh and I am too! Thank you one more time for your beautiful gracious reminders of our loving God! Your words always... ALWAYS quiet my heart and make me smile. :)

There is nothing like His love! Love the rose!
ReplyDeleteMe too...thanks for posting this beautiful scripture!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite poems and probably like many others, it was read at my wedding too!
ReplyDeleteCan we hear it enough? I especially need the part about "patience". It's the one love ingredient I miss from time-to-time and, like missing baking powder or egg in a cake mix, the end product is sometimes flat.
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder!
Blessings,
Kathleen
