Homemade Individual Pizzas

Every once in a while my mother stops at the "Target" store, over the lunch or dinner hour. When that happens, she is so happy for the opportunity to buy an individual pan pizza at the small cafe' in the front of the store. With the hot pizza in a box, she proceeds to her car, and sits and eats one of her very favorite meals. With that in mind, I saw a recipe one time that looked so good to me. Here is my version of individual pizzas created right in my kitchen, with only a few ingredients, a brief amount of time and very little cost. If children live in your home, they might enjoy helping to make these pizzas. The above pictured ingredients are the needed items. If I happen to have fresh mushrooms on hand, I will use them. I browned the 1 pound package of lean hamburger ahead of time and added sauteed onions.

I covered a cookie sheet with tin foil and sprayed it lightly with "Pam". I took and separated each of the "Pillsbury Grande" biscuits, and flattened them with my hands into a circle. I added 1/2 tea. of extra-virgin olive oil to the center of each circle, then spread it over the circle. At this point I LIGHTLY sprinkled some "Cavender's All purpose Greek Seasoning" to the pizza. I proceeded to add enough pizza sauce to cover the surface, then added the hamburger, the mushrooms(if preferred), the two cheeses.

I baked these in a 350 degree preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a light golden brown, and cheese is totally melted. These pizzas are just as good, without the hamburger and mushrooms. My grandchildren like only the sauce and the cheese. You can see this certainly is not a gourmet special, but it is something that the people living in this home, do ENJOY! By the way, if you ever see a pretty, little lady sitting in the parking lot of the "Target" store eating a pizza, just smile and know in your heart that she is one happy camper.
